Change Consulting Scotland is a business consulting firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland serving clients across the globe. Our mission is to fundamentally improve businesses, helping them implement their vision, develop strategies and enhance their competencies. Our business consultants are experts in helping companies of all sizes accelerate innovation, improve internal processes, and drive business performance. We have over 30 years of experience running complex change and transformational change programmes – including business change, people change, and technology change.

With backgrounds in the Big Four and FTSE 100, we have successfully made change happen in businesses of all shapes and sizes. Our specialist expertise draws on learnings used in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods, as well as Business Process Transformation and Change Management. Dougie Graham

Programme Director

Dougie oversees and directs all of our change projects and programmes. He draws on a Big Four consulting background with 20 years’ experience in delivering Change.

Specialisation: The use of data to drive decision-making processes to manage and implement Global IT and Change Management Programmes, from small to FTSE 100 size organisations.

James Boothby

James brings global insights and experience drawn from his time leading strategic initiatives across 29 countries at Tesla. He offers deep experience in directing concurrent, multi-million-pound EMEA programmes, bringing practical insights from initiatives that have impacted over 2,500 employees and generated upwards of £3M in annual efficiencies.

His background includes partnering with senior leadership to redesign operating models and enhance accountability, alongside hands-on experience implementing national performance and KPI frameworks.

Additionally, James brings expertise in coaching regional leads on Lean principles, providing a strong foundation in fostering organisational ownership and sustainable continuous improvement.

Steve Galbraith

Senior Business Analyst & Delivery Leader

Steve brings over 25 years of experience driving complex transformations across the public and private sectors. He specialises in analysing interdependent processes and sequencing them into practical go-live plans across multi-company environments.

With a track record spanning cross-government Brexit readiness, European technology transitions, and secure defense consortiums, Steve excels at bringing structure to highly interconnected environments. By translating between commercial, technical, and operational stakeholders, he keeps multi-organisation go-lives aligned.

• Complex Multi-Organisation Delivery: Track record operating across government departments, devolved administrations, industry supply chains, and multi-supplier consortiums.
• ERP Systems & Process Design/Redesign: Expertise in BPMN process mapping and value-stream analysis that defined ERP go-live sequencing for a major retail group.
• Requirements & Dependency Mapping: Expert at mapping dependencies across multiple third-party suppliers to bridge the gap between operations, technology, and commerce.
• Certifications: CBAP (IIBA) certified and an Executive Trainer with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Fun Facts: During his time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, Steve was one of only three people certified globally with the company to train Lean Six Sigma to Executives. He is a husband, father of four children and dog dad to his two wonderful canine companions!

Rebecca Graham

Executive Assistant

Rebecca works part-time looking after our finances and admin, while working on her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt via our Lean Academy.

Fun fact: Rebecca also works as an Operational Meteorologist, forecasting for the UK (BSc Hons Environmental Geoscience.)

Cecilia Ho

Business Development Associate

Cecilia facilitates strategy development and project implementation. She brings a FTSE 100 and Tech Startup background supporting C-Suite and Founders to deliver global project analysis, design and implementation.

Specialisation: Design-thinking to analyse, design and implement best-fit People, Commercial and Customer-Centric organisational frameworks.

David Pauling

Finance Associate

David has a Finance background with over 20 years’ experience in business transformation and technology implementation. A commercially focused leader, he brings a versatile and logical mindset as manager and advisor to plc’s and SME’s, influencing strategic direction.

Callum Maxwell

Project & Operations Delivery Associate

Callum is an experienced Project Manager with a strong foundation in strategic operations and supply chain. He brings a proven track record of delivering complex projects across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Vietnam. Adept at managing high-stakes initiatives across diverse sectors, including retail, FMCG, construction, and waste management, he transitions smoothly from initial strategy and business casing to hands-on execution.

A strong communicator, Callum excels at aligning key C-Suite stakeholders, managing SteerCo reporting, and utilising project management methodologies to deliver on time, budget, and scope while fostering a positive team culture. His recent successes include directing a comprehensive cost-out programme across 18 business units to deliver an AUD $25m annualised benefit, as well as spearheading the development of a proprietary AI diagnostic tool to drive client efficiencies.

Eilidh Poole

Business Consultant Graduate Apprentice

Eilidh is our fantastic Graduate Apprentice!

Through our collaboration with Heriot-Watt University, a world leader in innovation, she studies her MA in Business Management while getting stuck into live projects. In her first year Eilidh has:

• served as Project Management Support on a complex digital transformation programme for one of the UK’s largest steel manufacturers
• led Lean Process Mapping, with Black Belt supervisory, for a fire prevention company, helping triple their Sales output
• created AI-driven automations, including the CCS Chatbot and automated staff calendars to invoicing. A firm believer in healthy competition and teamwork, Eilidh brings new eyes, a fresh perspective and a keen appetite for learning to the team.

Fun Fact: Eilidh is a Second Dan black belt in Karate and holds multiple Scottish, British and World titles.

Gavin brings top tier leadership skills honed from leading teams of up to 900 people with annual budgets of up to £300m. Passionate about people, he has over 20 years of professional and Change Management experience across major public and private sector organisations.

Head of Design

Meet Olga, the brilliant mind behind all of our branding, the stunning designs and layouts you see. With over a decade of experience in both print and web, she helps small businesses make a visual impact through her exceptional ability to create clarity and beauty in her designs. Her technical skills are second to none, and she is an Adobe Suite wizard.

Olga holds a postgraduate diploma in Arts Management, which gives her a unique perspective on the intersection of art and business.

Besides design, Olga is a movement professional and anatomy geek. She holds a BA in contemporary dance and is a certified 500h Yoga Medicine teacher. Her love for movement and mindfulness informs her work, as she brings a sense of flow and harmony to every project she takes on.
